Awakenings for Teens
Teen Support Group is an ongoing weekly support group held on Monday nights from 7:30-8:30pm. We provide education, counseling, and support about teen issues such as drugs, alcohol, peer pressure, peer support, friendships, family issues, school issues, and social media.
We require a 12 week commitment. After the 12 weeks, it is your family's decision whether to continue. Most of our teens do continue as they like the camaraderie, consistency, and supportive environment. We provide snacks and bottled water at each group. Please let us know if there is any food your teen should not have.
Please note that we are not a drug and alcohol treatment center or program. If your teen needs additional care, or the next level of care like individual therapy, family therapy, an intensive outpatient program, or residential treatment; we will make those recommendations.
